Atlanta-based TNT benefited from a super competitive NBA West Conference game 7 finals last night and pulled in the biggest NBA ratings ever for a cable telecast.

The 15.9 million total viewers was also the most for any TNT telecast in the network’s 28-year history.

The Golden State Warriors, led by superstar Stephen Curry, took down the Oklahoma City Thunder Monday night, coming back from a 3-1 deficit.

When the Warriors won, viewership peaked at nearly 20 million.

More than 7 million people stuck around for the after show “Inside the NBA,” a record for that telecast as well.

The seven games averaged nearly 10 million viewers.

Turner’s TV Everywhere platforms drew an additional one million unique viewers.
