Kim Zolciak reported to her 2.4 million Instagram followers and 2.1 million Facebook fans that her four-year-old son was seriously injured by a dog bite and is now hospitalized.
The reality star of Bravo’s show “Don’t Be Tardy” wrote earlier this afternoon that her past 14 hours have “been a living nightmare.”
Kash Biermann “was bit by a dog and had very traumatic injuries,” she wrote. “I’ve never prayed so hard or been so scared in my life.” She wrote that he was in an operating room for a couple of hours but she is “praying for a quick speedy recovery.”
She provided no details about the dog itself, its owner or the circumstances behind the incident. (Nobody has seen a police report. Presumably, she will tell the entire story to somebody exclusively in the future.)
As a result, she was unable to make Andy Cohen‘s “Watch What Happens Live” Sunday night. TMZ reported earlier this week that she will return to “Real Housewives of Atlanta” part time season 10 though Bravo has not confirmed this.
UPDATE: At about 2 p.m. EST Monday, she posted a social media update on Kash’s status: “Kash is going home today earlier than expected.” She repeated the same line from yesterday: “Praying for a speedy recovery.” She still has not offered any explanation about how this all happened but thanked fans for sending “positive energy” their way.
I don't know where to start. The last 14hrs of our lives has been a living nightmare. My sweet @kashbiermann was bit by a dog and had very traumatic injuries. I've never prayed so hard, or been so scared in my life. My husband, our daughters, Kj, Tracey, his nanny, Michael Beck and everyone close to us all pulled together and held each other up. Kash was in the operating room for a couple hours and now we are praying for a quick speedy recovery. Due to this I will not be on WWHL tonight but will do my best to make it up very soon! Thank you for all your prayers and most importantly Thank you God for your protection ❤️ A very special Thank you to my incredible medical team! A few days in the hospital and we will be back home ❤️
