Johns Creek’s nine-year-old Angelica Hale is already through to the live rounds. “America’s Got Talent” previewed one of the acts coming Tuesday on social media: Atlanta’s Puddles Pity Party, the clown with the superb tenor voice singing “All By Myself” in all its plaintive sadness.

The preview video does not show what the judges will do next but since nobody buzzed, it’s clear he will make it to the next round. The episode airs on Tuesday at 8 p.m. [UPDATE: Indeed, out of 20 acts, only seven made it through to the top 36, including Puddles.]

Mike Geier, a popular Atlanta singer who has performed all over town for many years in different guises, isn’t technically revealing himself on the show as Geier. On stage, he does not speak. He only sings.

“I’m just a regular guy,” he wrote to the Los Angeles Times in 2015 in character. “I’m drawn to sad songs, beautiful songs. Old or new, doesn’t matter. Melancholy is where it’s at for me.”

A third Atlanta act, an R&B singing group Final Draft made it through the first round. Their second round performance has not been featured yet as they battle for a spot in the top 36.
